How much does garage floor coating cost?

The cost depends on the size of the garage, the condition of the concrete, the preparation required and the finish selected. Once we understand the space and what is involved, we can provide a clear quote for the recommended system.

How long does a garage floor take to install?

Most standard residential garage floors are completed in two days. This allows time for proper preparation, coating and finishing, without rushing the parts that help the floor last.

Can you coat over an old or failed epoxy floor?

In many cases, yes, but the existing coating needs to be assessed first. Failed coatings often need to be removed or heavily prepared before a new system can be applied properly. We will check what has failed, why it failed and what preparation is needed before recommending the next step.

Will the coating lift from hot tyres?

Tyre lift is usually caused by poor preparation, the wrong product choice or an installation issue. We assess and prepare the surface properly before coating, then recommend a system suited to vehicle traffic and daily garage use.

Is the floor slippery?

Slip resistance can be adjusted depending on the coating system and how the area will be used. We will discuss this before recommending a finish, especially for garages, outdoor areas or spaces that may get wet.

How do l clean the floor?

Most coated floors can be swept, mopped or cleaned with mild detergent as needed. We provide care instructions after installation, including what to use, what to avoid and how to keep the surface in good condition.
